I and Physical Therapy

I like my career a lot, but what I like most is the Neurorehabilitation area, because life is full of accidents, which may completely change the people's lives, leaving them unable to move. They are called disabled persons. The Physical Therapist can revert the situation helping to restore motor function or improve mobility, through specific exercise, or new techniques of movement.

For this reason, the Physical Therapist is a professional who must manage various disciplines such as Anathomy, physiology, biomechanics, psychology, neurology and others because s/he must use them to create new techniques that enable him/her to stimulate segments and recover movement. Before, the Physical therapist only worked in mitigating the consequences, to relieve pain and search for new ways so that the patient can manage in their daily work, because they believed that the patients can't improve. Today we know that it is not so, and we can stimulate the movement and generate a motor learning that will help our patients to recover health, and regain their autonomy whenever possible.
