Sedentary World



Each day we move less. Generally the people spend the working hours sitting in front of a computer or desk.We, the students too, we stand hours and hours sit listening to the teacher, We are mibilized by car, bus, subway, We won't walk nor do exercice. ¿Which is the result? The inactivity involves a big risk of suffering a heart attack, because it promotes the accumulation of fat and cholesterol, and increased the obesity, a diseasevery commontoday in our society. The lifestyle is very important for health.

But, we can think that sport is bad, exhausting or it is a risk of falls, and we can think that is better don’t do exercise, but If we put in a balance the advantage and disadvantage we can see that the advantage to sports are a lot more that the disadvantage.The exercise burns calories,it helps to control cholesterol levels, diabetes;it decreases the need of oxygen and arterial pressures, it strengthens the cardiac muscle and make more flexible the arteries,also it brings greats benefits in mental health like to improve a memory, speed, mood, body image and sense of well being increasing the stress resistance. To Respiratory level, the exercise improves ventilator function, increasing the ability of our body for withstand heavy load situations, produced by high intensity exercise or stress situation.

And the most important is funny, a good form the exercice is the sport, because when we play, we forget tiredness to our team win. Finallythe people in your team becomes your friends.

My blogging experience

I always think that the best way to learn everything is "learning by doing", for this I think that it is very good to write all fridays some lines about different topics because it is more real, and it helps us to perform better in the English language.

Also, it is very funny write when the topic we like. But, in my personal experience, sometimes I had a hard time deciding what write to each blog, my imagination was sleeping in those moments. It's terrible waste of time thinking about how to start or how continue, those were my critical moment in English, Lack of Imagination... but, in general it is very good in the development of students.

But, I think that this is not good enough, if there isn't a review, whitout feedback is very dificult improve mistake such as grammatical or spelling mistake, which is very important to we don't speak like Tarzan and we can stablish a fluid conversation.

The teacher is always willing to answer questions, but often we make mistakes without knowing, and without feedback, we never know in that we fail. That's what I fix in the English course.

Gooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool!
Two minutes of the second time and Chilean Selection returned us to hope, we all look amazed by the sudden goal of Chile, we don't believe but begin jump of happyness finally ended the tense atmosphere mantained during First time.

Much of the faculty of Medicine Every was in session today at the CES, suffering at every mishap from Chile, in the first part of the game, two goals from Spain, four yellow cards, Medel and Ponce were beyond the next match, , Estrada was expelled... all that discouraged us and we just walked away of dream of classify to eighths of final after 12 years. But this goal changed all... I and my friend jump embraced, all shouted, all laughed, everyone was happy...

No doubt, it was a very intense match... I watched the faces of all, their eyes fixes in that big screen.

The CES was crowded, everybody with the painted faces, all dressed in red, Teachers and students singing together for the Chilean Football.. . To see the match there, It was really a great experience.

One thing that bothered me was the Villa's Attitude, when he scored the first goal, I found so arrogant, I hate him in this moment, I don't know if I felt this because Chile was losing, or because it really was very ugly attitude.

The game ended with the next results: Spain 2 Chile 1
We lost, but we were happy, because at the same time played Honduras versus Suiza, and they tied at 0, and this mean that
¡¡¡¡¡¡¡Classify Chile the second round in World Cup! in SouthAfrica 2010 !!!!!!

Health prevention


Our body is very susceptible to suffer some illness, obesity, becouse the word is full of vice which generates imbalance in our system. But, in general the people are very careless or and many of these imbalance are given by dont following certain rules of Hygiene or to keep bad habits such as sedentary, smoke, gluttony, that can genetate obesity, dont wash the hands very good or wash their food can produce digestive diseases, etc.


Actually, the people leading a healthy life is very little.


I think that the principal problem is the sedentary, because causes damages in the body and in the mind, the lethargy is thye principal enemy of a health and active life. In fact, it's to say that the human body was designed to be used.


One good way that fight with this bad habits is to do exercices, because the physical activity

can prevent the principal cronic disease that such as Heart disease, Obesity, respiratory diseases that affecting with most frequency to population.


The physical exercise makes individuals so much healthier because the human body work so. The human body is designed to move around.


For this, the role of Physical Therapist is work for a population more healthy in a approach of public health promoting a often Physical activity , that changes the sedentary life style.

To throughout history, many men and women had fought to broken with gender discrimination, searching the equity, because even though physiologically and anatomically we are very different, this difference don’t mean that one is better or worse that the other.


Therefore during the development of the society, female emancipation has been left behind male dominance in fields of work, intellectual, politic, education etc.


But, I like woman, think that many times, this emancipation is out of our hands, many times we fall in the feminism, unbalancing the balance again, but this time for us.


I think that the role of both genders in the society is to search and fight for equity
Although we can’t ignore the naturals different, I think that there is the funny, interesting thing, the difference enriches us. For this I think that our principal role, such men as women is strengthen in our family and our society values such as tolerance and respect.
So, we don’t go back what has been achieved in the way of equity.


Today, we watch in the TV several crimes, people that lost control, that kill his spouse and children, rape etc, which make us think about how are rooted these values in our society.
For this we must promote “the good treat culture” putting into practice those values contribute to the development of our country.


The gluttony exist because to eat delicious foos lead a pleasant sensation. I love food, I eat all the day, and it's strange, because I am like broomstick, very thin, maybe it's because I don't like the food with a lot oil or a meat with a lot fat, and a few time I use mayo or I drink fizzy drink, generally I drink juice, maybe that makes up my big appetite.

Always is good, watch what we eat.

But, these days had a been horrible, because I can't eat the food I like, It's forbidden!
because I was operated for appendicitis, and keep a ligth diet for a long time...

I can't eat avocado, egg, lettuce, margarine, chocolate, cereals.... anything!
and when I see my family eat this food, I suffer...

All I want is that my wound has healed early, because I bored of the bread with marmalade, I don't want to eat like desperate, I just want to eat breakfast varied.
What I miss most is eating avocados, but I must keep a balanced diet.

Its very difficult to mantain the strength of will, because there are things more important like health. And sometimes we must do things that we don't like for the greater good.

I and Physical Therapy

I like my career a lot, but what I like most is the Neurorehabilitation area, because life is full of accidents, which may completely change the people's lives, leaving them unable to move. They are called disabled persons. The Physical Therapist can revert the situation helping to restore motor function or improve mobility, through specific exercise, or new techniques of movement.

For this reason, the Physical Therapist is a professional who must manage various disciplines such as Anathomy, physiology,biomechanics, psychology, neurology and others because s/he must use them to create new techniques that enable him/her to stimulate segments and recover movement. Before, the Physical therapist only worked in mitigating the consequences, to relieve pain and search for new ways so that the patient can manage in their daily work, because they believed that the patients can't improve. Today we know that it is not so, and we can stimulate the movement and generate a motor learning that will help our patients to recover health, and regain their autonomy whenever possible.
